Zoho Analytics is a self-service business intelligence platform for connecting, preparing, analyzing, and visualizing data, with dashboards, reporting, predictive analytics, embedded BI, and AI-assisted exploration. It is available as a Zoho-hosted cloud service and as an on-premises deployment.

1. Analytics workflow: users can combine data from files, databases, cloud storage, and business applications, then create charts, pivot tables, KPI widgets, dashboards, forecasts, formulas, and other calculated metrics for analysis.
2. AI capabilities: Ask Zia supports conversational analysis, report and dashboard creation, automated insights, diagnostic analysis, recommendations, and predictive questions. Its newer agentic and generative AI capabilities can also generate formulas and SQL and build data-preparation pipelines from natural-language instructions.
3. Operational fit: sharing controls, embedded analytics, REST APIs, scheduled data imports, collaboration, and cloud or self-hosted deployment options support both internal BI and customer-facing analytics requirements. Zoho Analytics On-Premise can run on Windows or Linux and can also be deployed through AWS, Azure, or Docker.
4. Commercial considerations: the cloud Free plan supports 2 users, 10,000 rows, and 5 workspaces, while Basic, Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans increase included users, data capacity, and advanced functionality. Zoho states that its current GenAI capabilities are available on Premium and Enterprise plans.
