Overview
What is WaveXML?
WaveXML is a desktop audio synchronization tool designed for video editors working with separately recorded camera and external audio. It analyzes waveform data to align recorder tracks with camera audio, then exports synchronized timelines using FCP7 XML or FCPXML workflows. WaveXML supports editing workflows involving Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and compatible Avid XML round trips. Processing takes place locally on the computer, so source media does not need to be uploaded. The current beta is available for macOS and Windows and is aimed particularly at multicamera, interview, wedding, event, and other dual-system audio workflows.
