Oracle OPERA Cloud

What is Oracle OPERA Cloud?

Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management is Oracle Hospitality’s cloud-based, mobile-enabled PMS for managing reservations, guest profiles, room inventory, rates, front-desk and cashiering workflows, housekeeping, and property operations. It forms the property-management core of the broader OPERA Cloud hospitality platform used by individual hotels and multi-property groups.

  1. Hotel operations: staff can manage reservations, arrivals and departures, room assignments, guest profiles and preferences, rates, folios, room status, housekeeping, maintenance requests, and operational reporting. OPERA Cloud Mobile extends functions such as arrivals, departures, in-house reservations, profile and reservation management, housekeeping Task Companion, room maintenance, room status, and package consumption to mobile devices.
  2. Embedded AI: OPERA Cloud Assistant, announced in June 2026, provides natural-language guidance based on operational procedures and Oracle documentation. Additional embedded AI recommends room assignments using reservation details, preferences, stay history, and operational factors; generates standardized rate descriptions from existing rate and package data; and creates multilingual translations for configuration and operational content. Oracle currently provides these AI capabilities to OPERA Cloud customers at no additional charge.
  3. Multi-property data and integrations: OPERA Cloud supports chain- and property-level configuration, and guest profiles can be shared across properties when the Shared Profiles setting is enabled, making preferences, loyalty information, notes, and other profile data available across the group. Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) provides REST APIs and business events covering areas such as reservations, front desk, housekeeping, inventory, rates, blocks, and other hotel-system integrations.
  4. Platform scope: buyers should distinguish the core OPERA Cloud Property Management service from other Oracle Hospitality products that can extend it. Oracle separately offers OPERA Cloud Central Management Services, Distribution, Sales & Event Management, Loyalty, Guest Engagement and Merchandising, Reporting and Analytics, Payment Cloud Service, and OHIP, so the required subscriptions depend on the hotel’s operating and integration model.

Oracle OPERA Cloud is most relevant to hotels and hotel groups that want property operations, guest data, mobile workflows, open integrations, and increasingly AI-assisted operational decisions within the wider Oracle Hospitality ecosystem.

H2O Hospitality

What is H2O Hospitality?

H2O Hospitality is a hospitality technology company whose H2O Flow platform connects reservation, guest-service, facility-operation, direct-sales, and CRM workflows. Rather than requiring hotels to replace their existing systems, H2O positions Flow as a layer that connects them from booking through check-out.

  1. Reservations and operations: H2O Smart CRS automates reservations across OTA, B2B, sales-agent, and offline travel-agency channels and can connect with existing PMS environments, including Oracle OPERA, Sanha, and on-premise systems. H2O Flow also includes Smart FMS for housekeeping assignment, inspection, completion notifications, and manager monitoring.
  2. Mobile guest journey: H2O Smart RMS covers mobile check-in and concierge workflows rather than a conventional hotel revenue-management system. Guests can receive check-in links and OTP codes through messaging apps, email, SMS, or social channels without downloading another app, then use the same digital journey for requests such as cleaning, wake-up calls, F&B, spa, and pool services.
  3. Direct sales and CRM: Smart D2C supports direct-booking packages, configurable promotions, dynamic promotional pricing, Google Hotels, and chat-based sales channels. H2O Smart AI Based CRM processes accumulated guest data for targeted CRM and automated personalized marketing based on customer behavior and events such as birthdays or anniversaries.
  4. Commercial considerations: H2O’s public site presents these capabilities as separate components within H2O Flow rather than as a single fixed software package. Buyers are directed through a consultation and quotation process, making existing PMS compatibility and the particular CRS, RMS, FMS, D2C, and CRM components required important parts of implementation scoping.

H2O Hospitality is most relevant to hotels and resorts that want to connect reservations, mobile guest services, housekeeping operations, direct sales, and customer data while retaining compatible parts of their existing hospitality technology stack.
